Kelly and Brandon's summer wedding at Evergreen Lodge in Groveland proved that even a heat wave can't stop a great celebration when you're surrounded by the people you love and the beauty of Yosemite National Park. The day began in an air-conditioned cabin where Kelly got ready alongside Brandon's daughter Molly, staying cool while preparing for the big moment. I then met up with Brandon, who enlisted some help from his friends to get his tie just right before it was time for the first look. Kelly and Brandon shared a sweet first look between the Evergreen Lodge cabins before hopping in the car to head to the Middle Fork Day Use Area for portraits, where we stayed in the shade as much as possible to keep everyone comfortable in the heat. After capturing those riverside moments, we returned to the resort for their ceremony at the stunning Wapama Grove, where their good friend officiated as Kelly and Brandon exchanged heartfelt vows and rings beneath the towering trees. Following the ceremony, guests were invited to cocktail hour in the main dining plaza, where Kelly and Brandon joined the celebration and personally thanked everyone for making the journey to celebrate with them. The couple and their guests were then treated to a delicious dinner accompanied by touching toasts from friends and family, including a particularly sweet one from Brandon's daughter that brought many to tears. As the sun set and the temperatures finally began to cool, the evening festivities kicked off with a tender father-daughter dance before Kelly and Brandon took the floor for their first dance as husband and wife. DJ Paz kept the energy high throughout the night as guests danced under the stars, proving that a little heat is no match for the warmth of love and community.
