Autumn Themed Flower Farm Inn Wedding » Loomis, California / by Vivian Chen

The autumn colors were on full display for Sondra and Jason’s early October wedding at the Flower Farm Inn in Loomis, California. The day started with Sondra getting ready in the historic farmhouse with her good friends while Jason got ready with his friends in a nearby cottage. After a sweet first look, we took some time for portraits before heading over to the magnificent oak tree for their ceremony. The guests who were all encouraged to wear floral patterned outfits as a nod to the venue, mingled and greeted one another among the fancy chickens who freely roamed the property. The wedding was a community effort with many of Sondra and Jason’s friends and family pitching in lending them supplies and helping with DIY projects such as linens, decor, and a photo booth. Sondra and Jason’s good friend officiated their ceremony and the couple exchanged vows under a trellis decorated with handmade paper flowers. For their reception, guests were treated to a delicious meal catered by another good friend of theirs. The party kicked off with a surprise rollerskating performance by Sondra and her father in lieu of a traditional father-daughter dance. And despite the power being shut off due to wildfire concerns, the celebration continued without a hitch as the Flower Farm Inn’s back up generators helped keep the party going into the evening.

// This is a pre-COVID wedding. I have several weddings from before the pandemic that I never got to share. While I’m a stickler for chronology, I also love these wedding photos so much and want to share them with you all.
