Mount Tamalpais Sunset Engagement Session » Mill Valley, California

Nestled among the majestic redwoods and rolling green hills of Mill Valley, Heewon and Jimmy's Mount Tamalpais engagement session captured the essence of their adventurous spirits. The early March spring day blessed us with perfect conditions—gentle breezes, vibrant wildflower blooms, and skies so clear we could spot the distant Farallon Islands shimmering on the Pacific horizon. This location held special significance for the couple, particularly Jimmy, an avid mountain biker who regularly explores the winding trails that crisscross this beloved landmark. Our session began in the redwood groves near Bolinas-Fairfax Road, where dappled sunlight created a magical atmosphere for the first portraits. Our second stop was along West Ridgecrest Boulevard, where Heewon surprised Jimmy with heartfelt words of love in Mandarin that she had secretly practiced for weeks, bringing tears to her eyes against the backdrop of sweeping panoramic vistas. We concluded our session at Trojan Point, where the golden light of sunset painted the landscape in warm hues as the sun slowly disappeared below the horizon.
