Summertime Golden Gate Club Wedding » San Francisco, California
Audrey and Nadav's summer wedding at the Golden Gate Club in the Presidio was one of those San Francisco days that reminds you the city can be generous when it wants to be. Audrey got ready with her bridesmaids before meeting Nadav for their first look at Tunnel Tops Park, where the Golden Gate Bridge sat in full view behind them and the city felt wide open on this sunny July day. From there, everyone made their way up the hill to the Presidio Chapel for the ceremony, where both of their mothers walked them down the aisle and a close friend of Audrey's late grandmother (commemorated with a pin on her bouquet) officiated, carrying a piece of someone deeply loved into the day. It was the kind of moment that holds a lot without needing to say much. Guests gathered back at the Golden Gate Club for cocktails and appetizers, including custom cocktail stirrers printed with their cat's faces, while the fog did what San Francisco fog does and rolled in right on schedule. Dinner was inside the ballroom, large windows framing the bridge and the bay as the evening light settled in, and before the toasts began, we slipped outside for a few sunset frames while the sky made the most of the moment. The rest of the night belonged to their people: heartfelt and funny toasts, a first dance, a horah, and a dance party that carried it all home.
