Stephanie and Tom's springtime wedding at the Brazilian Room in Berkeley's Tilden Park was a celebration filled with cherry blossoms, thoughtful surprises, and the natural beauty of the East Bay hills. The day began at the historic Claremont Resort and Spa, where the couple got ready and exchanged heartfelt letters and gifts with each other before sharing an emotional first look in their suite. From there, we made our way to the Brazilian Room in Tilden Park, where the cherry blossom tree was in full bloom, creating an absolutely magical pink and white canopy for portraits. Their ceremony took place on the lawn overlooking the serene Tilden Botanical Garden, officiated by a close friend who knew them well and brought personal touches to every word. When it came time to exchange rings, Tom and Stephanie added a playful element by hiding the ring boxes underneath two ceremony chairs, turning their guests into delighted treasure hunters who brought the rings forward—a fun moment that had everyone smiling. After the ceremony, we took a few moments for portraits on the lawn, soaking in the spring light and blooming landscape before the couple joined their guests for cocktail hour. The dinner reception featured a beautifully plated meal by Carrie Dove Catering, with guests enjoying delicious food while heartfelt toasts from loved ones filled the room with laughter and happy tears. The evening kicked off with wedding cake and dancing, and the celebration continued well into the night as guests partied beneath the historic beams of the Brazilian Room.
