Filigreen Farm sits on 97 acres in Anderson Valley, a biodynamic and organic diversified farm tucked between redwood forest and oak woodland in the heart of Mendocino County. Originally homesteaded in 1906 by the Farrer family, the land has been farmed with deep intention for generations, and for Theo, it has been home his entire life. Sariah and Theo could have gotten married anywhere, and they chose here. The morning started with both of them surrounded by close friends and family, the particular ease of people who have known each other long enough to just be together, before a first look and portraits around the property Theo grew up on. When it was time for the ceremony, they gathered in the redwood grove where Sariah's uncle officiated while the trees did what redwood trees do and made everything feel like it mattered. After a quick sunset portrait session around the property, guests sat down to dinner and toasts that were as thoughtful as everything else about the day. The flowers on the tables and in the bouquets had been picked that same morning from the farm with the meal coming from the same soil. The party continued with dancing in the grove, under a sky full of stars with no competing light for miles. Filigreen has been a sanctuary for over 40 years. Sariah and Theo just made it theirs too.
