Most Holy Redeemer + Fable Restaurant Wedding » San Francisco, California
Louisa and Max's love story reads like something out of a movie: childhood neighbors in Minnesota who reconnected as adults and fell deeply in love, discovering both each other and the city of San Francisco along the way. During vacations from Minnesota, they would stay with Max's uncle, Father Matt, who serves as the pastor at Most Holy Redeemer, a historically inclusive Catholic church in the Castro District. It was during these visits that they fell head over heels for the city. For their wedding, they invited just 12 of their favorite friends and family members to fly out from Minnesota to celebrate their union in the place that had become so meaningful to them. In a deeply personal ceremony at Most Holy Redeemer, Max's uncle Father Matt had the honor of officiating, bringing their family connection full circle as he married the childhood neighbors who had grown up to be each other's forever person. After the ceremony, we captured portraits in the church's charming garden, taking advantage of the lush greenery and quiet corners before stepping out into the neighborhood. We strolled through the vibrant streets of the Castro together, soaking in the energy of the city they loved before arriving at their destination for the evening. The celebration continued with an intimate private dinner on the garden patio at Fable Restaurant, where their small group of loved ones gathered to toast the newlyweds in the beautiful San Francisco weather. Louisa and Max's wedding was a beautiful reminder that sometimes the most meaningful celebrations are the ones shared with just a handful of people in a place that holds your heart.
