San Francisco City Hall + Piccino Wedding » San Francisco, California
Michelle and Kamran's San Francisco wedding was an intimate celebration that perfectly balanced quiet moments with the two of them and a joyful gathering with their closest loved ones. The day began with a tender first look on the porch of the historic Inn at the Presidio, where Michelle and Kamran saw each other for the first time before heading to their ceremony. From there, we made our way to the iconic San Francisco City Hall, where the couple exchanged rings in a ceremony so intimate that I had the honor of signing their marriage license as their witness. With just the two of them and the stunning Beaux-Arts architecture of City Hall surrounding us, the moment felt both grand and deeply personal. After they were officially married, we spent time exploring the building, capturing portraits beneath soaring domes, beside ornate windows, and along the sweeping marble staircases. Once we'd taken full advantage of the golden light filtering through City Hall's windows, we hopped in a car and headed to the Dogpatch neighborhood for the afternoon celebration. The couple had reserved the private dining Guesthouse at Piccino, the beloved Italian restaurant known for its farm-to-table approach and warm, welcoming atmosphere. Guests gathered around the table for heartfelt toasts and a delicious meal featuring ingredients sourced directly from Piccino's own farm in Healdsburg, making every bite a true taste of Northern California.
