Saying Goodbye to Summer in Kaua’i
In August, we took a family trip to Kaua’i and soaked up the last bits of summer in paradise. Tropical humidity, fresh ocean breezes, space to drift and linger. Fierce white waves breaking against hot sunbaked sands, leafy greens upon leafy greens crowded and growing, sunset boat excursions (with baby dolphins 😭) along the Nāpali Coast and mountain tubing down abandoned sugar cane irrigation canals, every day adventures among wild landscapes that tell ancient stories of creation and time. An island so lush and electric with life and energy, I can feel in my bones. Kaua’i, you’re my favorite.
