Outdoor Art Club Wedding » Mill Valley, California » Erin Prado for VCP

Spring in Marin has a particular quality to it, and Madi and Shamus's wedding day had all of it. They started the morning getting ready at the Mill Valley Inn before making their way to Old Mill Park for their emotional first look with redwoods overhead and a creek nearby, the kind of quiet that lets a moment land. Portraits with their wedding party followed in that same setting, unhurried and easy, before the group moved to the Outdoor Art Club, where everything was in bloom, for their ceremony. The back garden at the Outdoor Art Club is one of those spaces that needs almost nothing added to it, and Madi and Shamus let it speak, exchanging vows and rings surrounded by the people who matter most to them. Guests spilled into the front gardens for cocktail hour while the light did what Marin County light does in spring, then everyone moved inside for dinner in one of Mill Valley's most storied venues. After an outfit change, Madi and Shamus didn't just start a dance party, they opened it with a full performance in front of their friends and family, the kind of moment that stops a room. It was joyful and intentional, personal in all the ways that count.
