Ariel and Zach dreamed of an outdoor wine country wedding, and after searching for the perfect venue, they discovered the breathtaking Rosewood, a private estate featuring 600 acres of rolling green hills in Petaluma that offered the flexibility and natural beauty they'd been looking for. The spring rains had worked their magic on the property, bringing it alive with lush green grass and colorful wildflowers scattered across the landscape. The couple got ready on the property and shared their first look under the blooming wisteria-covered deck, a romantic moment framed by cascading purple blooms. They were then joined by their wedding party for group portraits by the creek, taking full advantage of the estate's natural beauty. Their stunning ceremony took place on the open lawn, where a good friend officiated and other close friends shared words of wisdom before Ariel and Zach exchanged their own heartfelt vows and rings. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers while a live saxophonist filled the air with festive music, setting a joyful tone for the celebration ahead. As the evening progressed, guests were invited into the tent for a delicious catered dinner accompanied by sweet toasts from friends that had everyone laughing and tearing up. As the sun began to set, I snuck away with Ariel and Zach and the property owner for a short truck ride up to the ridge of the property, where we captured golden hour portraits surrounded by the endless rolling green hills of Sonoma County. When they returned to the party, their DJ had the dance floor packed, and Ariel, Zach, and their friends danced well into the evening beneath the stars.
