Intercontinental Mark Hopkins + SF City Hall Elopement » San Francisco, California by Vivian Chen

When Monica and Braylen decided to elope, they knew it had to be in San Francisco. Monica said “San Francisco has a permanent place in my heart as my mother and I took a very special trip there together before she passed away in 2016.” Before the ceremony, we met up for portraits at the Intercontinental Mark Hopkins Hotel. Being at the Mark Hopkins was in honor of Monica’s mother due to the fond memories the place held. Afterwards, we headed over to San Francisco City Hall where they had a sweet and short ceremony under the rotunda. It was the perfect way to elope by keeping things simple and meaningful.

Emily and Cliff opted for a simple San Francisco City Hall ceremony in December instead of a large wedding (especially since they had just purchased their first home and decided not plan a wedding AND move during the holidays.) Their immediate families celebrated with them as they tied the knot on the fourth floor balcony of city hall.

Rosie and Bret wanted to celebrate their wedding in style so they threw a black tie event at San Francisco City Hall. The first time the bride and groom saw each other was when Rosie accompanied by her parents descended the grand staircase to Bret who was waiting on the landing below. From the lush florals by Katharina Stuart to the golden detailing of the dinner plates, the entire day was as elegant as the city hall itself. A Purple City Hall + Redwood Regional Park Wedding » Oakland + San Francisco, California by Vivian Chen

Alanna and Vihang's wedding can be summed up into three words: purple, dragons and redwoods. After a sweet family focused Friday ceremony at San Francisco City Hall, Alanna and Vihang celebrated with their friends with a party in Oakland's Redwood Regional Park. For both days, everyone was encouraged to wear purple as it's Alanna's favorite color. On Saturday, Alanna's sister led a simple ceremony inviting friends to share a few words about the couple. The guests blew bubbles to kick off the reception and everyone was invited to a potluck picnic including Indian curries, rice, samosas and lots of delicious homemade sweets. And of course, drinks from Alanna and Vihang's purple dragon goblets!
